It’s just as durable and beautiful as hardwood flooring, but it really does not suit the family. Fortunately, the damage is usually not permanent. Hardwood floors can be restored. This is done by polishing a thin layer of paper on top and then applying a clear polyurethane finish three times.
The wooden floors in your rental home will be damaged. Between moving furniture, general damage, and the presence of pets (if allowed), after a few years of rent, the once shiny floor is far from clean and is likely to be finished.

1. Choose the floor boy carefully.
You do not want crews to learn to work on your floors. Industrial floor polishers are a powerful tool. If you keep moving at the right speed and pattern, you will remove a lot of material, the surface will become uneven, and there will be fewer times the surface can be restored. 2. Ask if you need the perfect finish.
If the floor does not have a deep pit and the entire finish is not worn anywhere, the problem can be solved without complete repair work. Instead, a floor assistant polishes the existing finish (a process called sieving) and then applies the new finish (polyurethane) directly over it. This is sometimes referred to as a “screen and poly” or “maintenance layer” job and can save about 50% of the full restoration costs.
Think about color: If the floor is dark and rich (for example, darker than cardboard), then it is probably not the natural color of the wood. In most cases, the floor was stained when it was first installed or when it was finally finished. The stains are not affected by sifting the mesh and polyester floors, but if you have a pristine finish, the stains will be eliminated during the process. Therefore, the color of the floor will be much lighter after the work is completed unless you ask to color it so that it matches the original color.
3. Make a plan to move
You will have to leave the facility for a few days while the project is in progress, as you will not be able to go to the finish line if it is wet. Sanding takes only a day or two, but you must wipe the stain and each of the three finishing coats before going on to the next.

4. Room cleaning and tidying up

5. Scrub the Floor
