A UK court has ordered the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the United States. Assange has been formally extradited to the United States to face trial for leaking classified documents about the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

However, Assange’s lawyers will be able to appeal against the verdict in the High Court if he approves the extradition.
