Ratul Puri is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hindustan Powerprojects

He was raised by a father who possessed more than a purpose; he possessed a vision. His father, who has mentored him since was a child, taught him to look at the big picture, plan and plot in-depth, and so be a risk-taker who is informed and prepared. These lessons from his father, together with my schooling at Carnegie Mellon University in computer engineering, mathematics, and computer science, may have aided him in building Hindustan Power, India’s premier integrated power generation firm.

He was born in the 1970s, a decade when the Indian government was heavily involved in electricity generation and bulk transmission. While the country advanced toward industrialization, it took more than two decades for the country to recognize the necessity for long-term, equitable energy generation.

  5. Responsibility

The energy sector in India was in terrible difficulty when we founded Hindustan Powers in 2008, but the following basic principles that the organisation has consistently claimed, consumed, and shared kept us going as a team.

At Hindustan Power, adopting an energy mix to meet national demand has been a shared objective. In my regular presentations at the World Economic Forum, He have had the distinction of promoting our idea on the global stage while we continue to work toward this goal.

While He will proud of our clean energy division for spearheading solar technologies, In India, He want to continue to work toward the creation of an ecosystem that benefits both industry and the environment.

Hindustan Powerprojects Private limited

Hindustan Powerprojects is a private power producer with portfolios in both thermal and solar energy. The company currently has 1362 MW of producing capacity from Thermal and Solar Assets, a $2 billion asset value, and over 1000 employees spread throughout its several locations.

Through corporate growth and social responsibility, Hindustan Power has constantly focused on providing optimum returns to its stakeholders.

The company has power generation assets in India’s states of Assam, Karnataka, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh, with its headquarters in New Delhi.

India, behind the United States and China, is the world’s third largest energy consumer, although it has limited energy resources. As a result, it must use all available resources to meet its development needs. This knowledge enabled the company to concentrate on renewable energy in the short-to-medium term and conventional energy in the medium-to-long term. Risk-mitigated growth is ensured through secure supply chains, a diverse client base, and a focus on the correct technology for the area. Its focus on improving livelihood in the places where it operates has benefited the community and its approach to sustainable living significantly.
