FeedMyPockets, India’s first B2B on-demand staffing platform has raised seed funding of 625K USD from US-based VC firm. It’s FeedMyPocket’s first round of funds infusion since from its inception in  2017. FMP India’s first tech-driven WaaS (workforce As A Service) module facilitates temp staff on hourly, daily, weekly and monthly duration across various verticals.

History:

FeedMyPockets, a social innovation started with an incident happened to co-founders Prashant Janadri and Naveen Ramachandra’s life in late 2016 and later they built a platform that helps student body to earn while they learn with effective operations from 2017. However co-founders cum best buddies had entrepreneurial zeal since  college days.

Prashant, ex-wiproite heads technical, business and product growth whereas Naveen got specialized from  University of Greenwich alumni  takes care of  Operations and finance. These two are the minds behind leading temp job aggregator FeedMyPockets today having headquarter in Bangalore.  FMP operates at 4 other cities Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune.

Usage of Fund:

Currently, FMP is growing at 33% MOM and 4X YOY, the raised fund will be utilizing for deep tech integration, business growth, scale, supply chain and operations. We aim to achieve two-three folds growth in the market penetration with newly raised fund in the coming year. So far FMP has got more than 100,000 app downloads and we will work aggressively to improve supply chain.

FMP with social framework of youth empowerment and employment has disbursed nearly 2 crores of wages to the student body with more than 2.5 lakhs working hours. In unorganized temp staffing, FMP aims to build a strong platform to bring values to the both businesses and student body.
