Selling Sunset 

If you are a fan of TV shows, especially ones with drama, Selling Sunset is the perfect Netflix show for you! The show follows a group of elite real estate brokers at the Oppenheim Group that sell luxe life to affluent buyers in the LA market. The reality show starts when a new agent joins the agency, and drama ensues. Unlike other reality shows, Selling Sunset is different- probably owing to the fact that there is no definite villain or hero- and the audience’s favourite changes with every episode of every season! So if you can’t get enough of the drama and want a show that doesn’t get boring despite the number of seasons (this one has 5), then Selling Sunset is the perfect binge watch for you! Vikings: Valhalla 

If you never got over the History Channel’s Vikings, then there is good news for you- Vikings: Valhalla, the new Netflix Show that picks up 100 years after the original Vikings by History Channel! The timeline is around the time when the Vikings had overrun England and taken control of Normandy in France. Now on their way across the Atlantic Ocean and their time in England coming to an end, the show follows the life of Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett), Freydís Eiríksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Hardrada (Leo Suter) – some of history’s most famous Norse men and women.

Cobra Kai 

What is the best way to revive your childhood but not watch the same films over and over again? Cobra Kai! If you were a fan of Karate Kid and were as obsessed with it as us, then you can miss out on this sequel. Tucked away in the crevices of YouTube Premium, the series is now finally on Netflix! Set over three decades after the end of Karate Kid, the show follows Johnny Lawrence, who was Daniel’s one time bully and opponent in Karate. The series follows as Johnny reforms his ways and works on himself to open the karate studio Cobra Kai!  

Bittersweet takes on growing up, the show is sure to make you miss your childhood! For all the karate kid fans, the show has a bunch of appearances from the original cast. Even if you are somehow not familiar with the cult classic, this series can be seen as a standalone.  

Hellbound 

Supernatural phenomena are unpredictable- but what happens when they change the very essence of the world we live in? Hellbound follows one such story of a scenario where a supernatural phenomenon takes over the world. When ‘Angels’ start appearing and condemning people to hell, followed by 3 brutish trolls making sure the prophecy goes through, a new religion is created- one that is as terrifying as the monsters. On the side, you have a detective trying to make sense of this chaos, and on the other, you have the leader of the new religious cult that has the reins of the world as we know it. This extremely insane series will have you at the edge of your seat, sweating buckets! With remarkable characters, a memorable cast as well as one of the weirdest yet brilliantly written plot lines out there, Hell Bound is a must watch Netflix show that should be on your summer bucket list!

Squid Game

When talking about Korean shows, you have to talk about this masterpiece. One of the most-watched shows on Netflix, Squid Games should be on your binge list this summer, if you haven’t already watched it! The show follows a group of people in the area who are going through financial struggles. A mysterious man appears and offers them a simple disposition- Play the games they played as a child, win them and you will win money! However, nothing is as simple as it sounds of course, and the contestants find that out soon enough! Turns out, if you lose the games, you lose your life! The beautifully written series features some amazing characters while drawing attention to the widening gap between the rich and the poor that is prevalent in today’s world.
