The world celebrates media in different languages, just as there are many channels through which communication can be passed. Dubai, being a mega city has explored the evolution of media like every flourishing city, and if you pay attention well enough, you can tell that there is a haul of the printing press in Dubai. For those who had prior domain or good use of the internet space, they were able to re-strategize and float despite what appeared as adversity to the face of earthlings.

Could digital media be a threat to the printing press?

Do you want the truth or something that you want to hear? I’ll say it either way. Digital media is dominating the Printing Press in many ways than one, and it profits better. With a tool as vital as social media, digital media has been a less expensive, creative, and non-burdensome channel of media to convey messages to the audience.

Digital media is better considered for some type of communication, especially in some age brackets mostly in the millennials and generation Z. While the place of the Printing Press still takes hold, considering demographic and target audience, digital media is a growing threat to the print media.
