There are 62 kilometres/38 miles between Pokhara and Poon Hill. A road distance of 44 kilometres separates Pokhara Nayapul from Poon Hill, and a hiking distance of 22 kilometres separates Nayapul from Poon Hill. Since the 22 km hike cannot be completed in one day due to the ascent trekking routes, a night must be spent in Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. There is a distance of 15 kilometres between Ulleri and Ghorepani.

One of the most charming treks in the Annapurna region is the Poon Hill Trek. Furthermore, it is one of the most effective methods of viewing panoramic views. There are several mountain peaks to be seen in the Annapurna region, including the Annapurna massifs, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Tukuche, and others. Give a brief description of the geographical area.

You will have the chance to learn about the cultures, traditions, and religions of several ethnic groups, including Brahmins, Chettries, Gurungs, and Magars. From the top of Poon Hill Trek, you can view the sunrise and find several hot springs. You will also see cataracts, various species of animals and birds, and rhododendron forests along the way.

On the third day from Ghorepani to Poon Hill, we put on warm clothes and climb up to Poonhill (3210m). Our main rucksacks will be picked up later, so we don’t need to take much. By foot, Poonhill (3210m) is about an hour away.

This is the best time to see the sunrise and enjoy the magnificent views of the Himalayas like those of Annapurna South, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri ranges, Tukuche peak, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, Mt.Manaslu ranges, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and other mountains. We return to Ghorepani for breakfast after this unforgettable view. Trek to Pokhara.
