Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has expressed his condolences over the deaths of his country’s army members. In a post on social media Facebook, he announced that he would continue his campaign to eradicate the terrorists.
The Egyptian military did not specify the exact location of the attack. Two residents of northern Sinai said the attack took place in the town of Kantara in Ismailia province, which extends east of the Suez Canal.
