You rarely hear about a famous supermodel starting her own swimwear line, but Elisa Sintjago is doing exactly that, and she has grand plans. Born in the Netherlands, Sintjago comes from rough beginnings. Such circumstances can often make or break a person, but Sintjago channeled her experience to mold herself into a more resilient person.
Achieving success is easier said than done. Sintjago’s breakthrough as a model came almost unexpectedly. It wasn’t something Sintjago was counting on because she didn’t meet the traditional standards for modeling. She wasn’t tall or skinny. Yet, Victoria’s Secret came knocking, and Sintjago wasn’t about to turn them down.
Modeling for Victoria’s Secret would be the greatest achievement of most people’s lives, but Sintjago wasn’t about to rest on her laurels. Instead, she wanted to actualize her full potential and make all her dreams come true. After all, she didn’t want only to be a supermodel. She had other talents she wanted to showcase to the world.
As a result, she began her journey to put herself on display to the world. Her first goal was to establish a business empire, something she could be proud of when talking about her list of accomplishments. That’s when the idea for Elisa Swim Wear came to the forefront. When most people think about supermodels, they think about their perfectly tanned bodies on a beach somewhere. So the idea of launching a swimwear brand seemed perfect.
Elisa Swim Wear came to fruition at the start of the quarantine in March 2020. The brand features male and female swimwear designs and aims to inspire the world to look and feel sexy. However, a single brand doesn’t constitute a business empire, and Sintjago knew that. Hence, she dived headfirst into establishing more businesses. Thus, came about her other two companies – Dollhouse Beauty Lounge and Dream House the Label.
As far as Dollhouse Beauty Lounge is concerned, it creates healthy organic CBD products. The brand came to life in November 2019, but Elisa Sintjago really focused her energy on elevating the brand to new heights following the pandemic. Similarly, Dream House the Label is a record label Sintjago started to push creative musical talent to the forefront. The label promotes and publishes eclectic and talented artists from various genres, including hip-hop, pop, R&B, and EDM.
In addition to building her business empire, Sintjago is also focused on pursuing her other goals. She wants to build a successful career as a singer and songwriter. She comes from a musical background and wants to emulate her idol, Michael Jackson. If you were picking an artist for inspiration, you can’t go wrong with the King of Pop, and Elisa feels the same way. She has already released multiple tracks on digital streaming platforms. More excitingly, she also has an album coming soon!
Elisa Santiago has always wanted to pursue a career in music because it’s a deep-rooted passion. When she was six, she first discovered her love for music and chose to sing in her church. Then, getting up on stage and performing made her realize that she wanted to be a musician because the experience enamored her. The thrill and adrenaline she got from being on stage were indescribable, and it’s a feeling she has been chasing ever since.
When it comes to her future plans, Elisa Sintjago has lofty ambitions, and she doesn’t plan to stop until she accomplishes them. She has always maintained her faith and stuck to her routine of meditating and working out to help her get through tough times. But she believes the best is yet to come. She cannot wait to expand her business and reach the top!
