The football world is abuzz with news that FIFA has proposed to move the start date of the Qatar World Cup from June to November. In a recent article, the FA of Ecuador backed the plan, although Tonga and Samoa reportedly withdrew from the OFC. The

FIFA council will ratify the decision. England’s Group B campaign had been scheduled to begin on Monday 21 November at 8am ET, or 1pm GMT. The new start date doesn’t change the timings of the matches, but it is worth  bearing i n mind that  it means that three matches will be played on that day.

FIFA proposal to move Qatar World Cup 2022 start dates

According to 8Xbet FIFA has proposed to move Qatar’s World Cup 2022 start date to

November 21 from June 1. The decision was made afte r the country’s emir requested a later kickoff time to stage a fireworks display before the opening game. FIFA has been in discussions with Qatar and other countries, including Ecuador and CONMEBOL, and is now expected to pass the change to the President o f the FIFA Bureau, which

consists of six presidents of continental confederations.

The decision will need to be approved by the FIFA Bureau, which includes FIFA

president Gianni Infantine and the leaders of the continents. The new start date will be November 20 to December 18, with the tournament’s opening game competing with  an NFL game on Sunday night in the United  States.  It will  also  feature  the US soccer team playing Wales in the final game on December 18, Qatar’s National Day. move to late November and December is not a complete disaster, as the 2022 World Cup is the first winter World Cup in the northern hemisphere.

A change to the World Cup start date will only have a minor impact on the competition but will make the competition more accessible to a wider audience. The start date of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will not change England’s opening game, which will be

played on November 21. However, the FIFA  Executive Committee will  also  decide on the host country, which is expected to be in Qatar. If it’s moved, the finals will be held in Qatar for the first time.

Ecuador’s FA on board with FIFA’s proposal to move Qatar World Cup 2022 start dates

The proposed date change comes as FIFA and the Ecuadorian FA discuss a way to

make the tournament’s opening game playable on a Sunday. The current start date of Monday, 21 November, is too late for England’s Group B campaign to kick off. As a result, the start date of the tournament will be shifted to Sunday, Nov. 20. Kickoff for the match will be at 7 p.m. ET, one hour earlier than scheduled.

The FIFA proposal to move the start date of the tournament to March 21 was first

floated by the FIFA Executive Committee in December 2017. The new date will allow Ecuador to get their preparations done earlier. Ecuador has already qualified for the tournament despite the fact that they fielded a player that was allegedly not

Ecuadorian. Chile, for example, has proof that Byron Castillo was born in Tumaco, Colombia in 1995.

The proposed date shift will allow Ecuador to play their first World Cup match on Nov. 20 instead of November 21. The decision was made because of the Ecuadorian FA’s opposition to the original date. FIFA had originally proposed the earlier start date as a way to accommodate Ecuador’s desire  to play  in the opening match. While the new date shift would not affect other matches, it would ensure that Ecuador is able to play its first match against Qatar prior to the opening ceremony.

International football championship

The 2022-FIFA World Cup is the quadrennial men’s international football

championship. It will be held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December, 2022.

However, the start date has caused some controversy due to two nations withdrawing from the tournament. The World Cup is expecting to attract more than 1 billion

viewers. As a result, many countries have questioned the tournament’s legitimacy.

The OFC’s official website explains that the two countries pulled out of the tournament after they were initially selected to participate. However, they had been unable to meet the travel requirements for the Covid-19 tournament. Meanwhile, Tonga pulled out due to the Tsunami in 2022, while Vanuatu and Cook Islands withdrew due to COVID -19 outbreaks and travel restrictions.

A task force commissioned by FIFA to study the potential impact of the 2022 World

Cup start date on the climate and weather conditions in the country has recommended that the event be moved up to November and December. This will avoid the intense summer heat in the Gulf state. Furthermore, the tournament will not clash with major
