We live in a digital era where our screen time has increased by manifolds. We are either working on our laptops, using social media on our smartphones, or watching shows on our television. Everyone has different eyes, and there is no fixed time to start wearing prescription eyeglasses. But it is always a good time to start taking care of your eyes.

The harmful rays from the sun can damage your eyes more than you know. Only wearing sunscreen is not enough to protect our skin; we also need to protect our eyes from the UV rays coming from the sun. Invest in a good pair of sunglasses to reduce the impact of prolonged sun exposure on your eyes. Sunglasses will prevent eye problems like cataracts and cancer of the eyelids in the long run. They can also prevent dust and pollutants from entering your eyes.

5.  Visit an eye doctor

Visit an eye specialist at least once a year to get your eye checkup professionally and make it a regular thing. If you face problems like frequent headaches, itching, watering eyes, etc., it is a sign to visit your ophthalmologist. You can easily understand how to read eye prescription and what your doctor has written in it. Routine checkups can prevent serious health scares if appropriately treated.
