Finding ways to give back to the community is a responsibility everyone must take seriously. One individual that has continued to give back to the community where he lived and grew up is Toledo resident Griffith Littlehale. He was born and raised in the Toledo area and had a lot of academic and athletic success throughout his youth.
This included being named one of the top swimmers in the country. Eventually, he decided to further his education by going to the University of Toledo, where he further received academic honors. While he has done well and stayed busy with sports and school, he has still found ways to give back.
Active with Church
Throughout his life, Griffith Littlehale has been an active member of his local church. While this included going through various religious education programs and going to church, he also helped the church achieve its missions. The local church in Toledo has consistently been involved in various charities in the area, which would not have worked without the support of individuals that have contributed to these causes. He helped with a variety of these causes when he was young.
Support Feeding Homeless
The Toledo, Ohio, area is no different than other cities across the country because it continues to have a homeless population and others that need access to food. Today, churches and other organizations across the area have raised money and directly provided the care and food that people need to thrive. None of this would be possible without the support and help of volunteers. Griffith Littlehale has continued to have a passion for helping others and has helped to feed the homeless through various shelters throughout the area.
United Way
One of the largest charities in the world today is the United Way, which has helped to raise a lot of money to support various causes. While the organization has an extensive reach across the world, the charitable organization would only be able to achieve its goals with the support of various individuals. Griffith Littlehale and others in the Toledo area are passionate about what the United Way can provide for the less fortunate. He has continued volunteering for the organization and helping it raise the money it needs.
Griffith Littlehale has continued to have a lot of academic and athletic success throughout his life. Now that he is in college at the University of Toledo, he has continued to pursue his dream of starting a career in graphic design. However, even though school has continued to keep him busy, he has always found ways that he can dedicate his time to helping support his community and the less fortunate. Beyond working with the local churches and the United Way, he is always willing to learn more and find ways to give back to various other charitable organizations and causes.
