The Spokesperson of the High Commission clarified that there is no such advisory of the Government of India and that India remains open to travel by all nationalities. It was emphasized that it was only for the reason of facilitating travel to India that all 16 India Visa Application Centres in Bangladesh were open for extra hours through the first week of May, and were even open on holidays to meet extra demand for visas.
