Saltoro kangri is one of the top 10 highest Himalayan peaks in India. It is the fourth-highest peak in India and the highest peak in the Saltoro ranges. Formerly known as Peak 36, it is the highest peak of the Saltoro Mountains subgroup of the Karakorum Range, also known as the Saltoro Range, which is part of the Karakorum. 

This mountain range is home to some of the longest glaciers in the world, such as the Siachen Glacier, the largest glacier in India. It is the 31st highest peak in the world. It is located on the line of the present land position, which is between the Siachen region of India and the western part of the Pakistan-controlled Saltoro Mountains. There are many glaciers on the long crescent ridge of Saltoro Kangri Peak. 

The only problem with this peak is that it is in a very remote location, deep in the Karakorum. West of the peak, it rises dramatically over the valleys of the Kondus and Saltoro rivers in Pakistan. Due to the threat of war, this peak is not visited very often. The best time to experience the beauty of this peak is July, August and September. Trishul Peak is one of the top 10 highest Himalayan peaks in India. It is a group of three individual peaks. It is located in Auli in the western Kumaon region of Uttarakhand near the Nanda Devi Shrine. It takes its name from the Trishul of Lord Shiva because it resembles the Trishul of Lord Shiva. 

The three peaks of Trishul are named Trishul I, Trishul II and Trishul III. Trishul I is the tallest of the three at 7,120m.The height of Trishul II is 6690m and Trishul III is 6007m. The peak is best seen from Kausani or between Roopkund Trek. The three peaks of the Himalayan range in western Kumaon usually form Trishul’s coat of arms.

 Trishul I was first killed by T.G.Longstaff in 1907. Later, in 1950, a Yugoslav team climbed the other two peaks as well. Its ski slope was used to train butcher officers who patrolled the Indo-Tibetan border police. In the middle of the windy season of March and April, the weather is exceptionally cool due to the heavy snowfall in the valley.

After failed attempts in 1938 and 1939, Chaukhamba I was conquered on June 13, 1952 by Swiss members of the French expedition Lucien George and Victor Russenberger climbed for the first time. They climbed the north-east face of Bhagirathi-Kharak Glacier. 

With such an attractive location and visibility, the ensemble of massifs is very popular among the trekking and climbing explorers in Uttarakhand. The route they took was along the north-east face of Bhagirathi-Kharak Glacier.

Kanchenjunga, is one of the top highest Himalayan peaks in India. It is located in Sikkim near the India-Nepal border. It is the highest peak in India and the third highest peak in the world after Everest and K2 (Kangchenjunga-2), which also belong to the Himalayas. 

Its elevation is 8,586 meters above sea level and its summit is 8,586 m (28,169 ft) in the Kangchenjunga Himal section of the Himalayas bounded by the Tamur River on the west, the Lhonak and Jongsang La Rivers on the north and the Teesta River on the east. 

Kanchenjunga is a Tibetan word meaning “five treasures of snow” which are considered the five deposits of God. The treasures include salt, gold, grain, medicines and religious writings, according to the local Lhoppo people. 

The protected areas are home to many globally important plant species such as rhododendrons and orchids, as well as many showcase endangered species such as the snow leopard, black bear and red panda.

 It is also known as Sewa Lungma in the local Limbu language. There are four climbing routes leading to the summit of Kangchenjunga , including three in Nepal from the Southwest, Northwest and Northeast and one from the Northeast of Sikkim, India.  That’s why it is one of the top highest Himalayan peaks in India.

It is the sixth highest peak in India with a height of 7,516 meters. It is the 48th highest peak in the world. There is no segmentation, it is independent.
