E-Visa
This category is the most preferred category of traveler’s visa. E-Visa India is a multiple-entry tourist visa for citizens of the United States, which can be granted for 10 years on the condition that “uninterrupted stay for each visit will not exceed 180 days and no registration is required”.
Applicants may note that the Consulate does not process e-Visas and any inquiries in this regard should be directed directly to the e-Visa Portal.

And if you want to go for a medical e-visa, you must submit a letter from any hospital in India where you are going to be admitted or have a medical check-up.
