A man died early today as his motorcycle collided with a pickup van Keshabpur upazila in Jashore.
The deceased was identified as Debashish Roy (44), son of Shubhashish Roy of Porochakra village of the upazila, reports our Benapole correspondent.
Keshabpur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI), Muktar Hossain, said, “Debashish Roy was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with pickup van coming from the opposite direction on Altopal 23-mile area on Jashore-Satkhira road.
Locals rushed him to a Keshabpur hospital and later he was transferred to Khulna General Hospital, said the SI.
Debashish died at around 1.30 am while undergoing treatment there, the SI added.
