Teaneck, New Jersey resident Manuel Goldring was always interested in tinkering for as long as he can remember. As a child, he often dissembled toys, small electronics, appliances, and other knick-knacks to see if he could put them back together. It was precisely this meticulously curious upbringing that made him the accomplished man and father he is today. He attributes his current success to his many life passions, including family, technology, and everything to do with computers.
Perhaps his vivacious thirst for knowledge and attention to detail led him to pursue a career in accounting. He excelled at everything he put his hands on, going forth to continue higher education in this field and obtaining his Master’s of Accounting in 2013.
From Bookkeeper to Adventure-Seeker
Growing up, Manuel Mendy Goldring felt society’s pressure to make something of himself. There were images of influential businessmen who ruled the finance and accounting world everywhere he went. A gamer at heart, he realized he loved to tinker and explore – just not in the world of pen and paper. Building personal computers, exploring new technology, and different coding challenges were near and dear to his heart.
Recently, Goldring has hung up his suit to pursue the life he always dreamed of, exploring his hobbies and transitioning into the lucrative field of information technology. Gone are the days when Wall Street had a monopoly, as the digital world has opened barriers throughout the globe, leaving companies to contend with each other on a grander scale. This has made it possible for all professionals with a knack for the esoteric world of computers to jump on into any corner of the world and feed the hungry beast looming towards the metaverse.
Manuel Mendy Goldring spends his time exploring the digital world in two different ways. When he is not looking for innovative projects to work on with his remote freelance career, he loves to tackle the challenges available to him in competitive games. As a child, he reveled in the competition between friends and siblings in sports such as Madden and Forza. As Manuel got older, he realized he immensely enjoyed high-risk competition from opponents worldwide. In his limited spare time, he loves to jump onto Escape from Tarkov.
Escape from Tarkov has won many awards for being one of the best survival competitive shooters that refined the genre. Players compete with human and AI players to scavenge and defend as much of their winnings as possible, to go out again with better equipment into the world of Tarkov.
Devoted Father and Lifelong Student
Manuel Mendy Goldring’s love for games cannot be understated, but he understands that his responsibilities come first. He and his wife welcomed their first child together in March of 2021 and have shifted priorities for the young couple. Dedicated to giving his son a life full of as many advantages as possible, Manuel is actively working hard, receiving further certifications, accolades, and experience in IT and computing.
