MyLoneStar is sometimes called iStar. It’s used to access Lonestar email, academic profiles, courses, MyLoneStar Login & Access Student Portal enrollment, immunization records, and D2L.

  • Visit my.lonestar.edu.
  • Here’s your LSC email.
  • Enter your password.
  • Login to your dashboard.
  • MyLoneStar student identification number
  • Here’s where you can access myLoneStar.
  • Get Username” drop-down menu
  • Enter your last four Social Security numbers, last name, and birthdate. Click submit. Your username appears. Keep this information safe.

The login page has “Reset Password.”

Click submit after entering your login or student ID. You’ll be prompted to if you haven’t already. Enter your password if you have one.

You’ll obtain a username and password. MyLoneStar displays your student ID number. Clicking “Student” displays your Student ID under “Profile.”

MyLoneStar Password:

The username combines your surname and first name. “Eskarina Smith” might be smith or eskasmith; “John Smith” could be jsmith4. Those with common names might conclude their usernames with numbers. Use your username to access campus computers or library databases (not your student ID number).

Email Lonestar:

Lone Star College has D2L, student, and staff email accounts. Your LoneStar email address is [myLoneStar username] @my.LoneStar.edu. Eskarina Smith’s email is [email protected].

  • LoneStar e-mail login
  • myLoneStar.com has details (my.LoneStar.edu).
  • Log in with your LSC email and password.
  • Click “Student Email” on the homepage.
  • You’ll need your LSC email address and password to log in to Microsoft 365.
  • At the center of your Student View’s homepage is a preview of your inbox and a link to your Student Email.
  • D2L email addresses look like [email protected]. That’s not your official email; it’s only for D2L. Your email password is my LoneStar password.
  • Using the same password as my LoneStar, you shouldn’t have to sign in again. If you forget your email address, click “Get Username/Email.”

How to set up myLoneStar email

  • “Settings,” “Mail, Contacts, and Calendars,”
  • “Other” is the account type.
  • Fill out the “Add Mail Account” box.

Complete:

The first and last name @my.lonestar.edu (LSC student email address) is the email username.

Password for LSC email

Lonestar.edu is a UTSA website (default). Include the user’s decision. Next, click.

IMAP is the default (keep the connection to IMAP).

Details:

Office365.com is the hostname. [email protected] is the username.

student’s email password.

Click “Save.”

Login Instructions for myLoneStarD2L

Two ways exist to obtain LoneStar D2L online courses.

portal.myLoneStar.com

Register at my.LoneStar.edu.

Click on the LSC-Online tile.

My Courses should list your online or hybrid course.

Also featured are face-to-face classes. Professors utilize D2L to supplement on-campus studies.

My Home. Lone Star College logo Online leads to My Home. Click on your course schedule.

The next item is your current class.

The course list icon displays your courses and lets you pin them to the top. Pin the image.

Start with Edu:

Click “Class Login” at the top.

Click Secure Login using your LSC email and password.

D2L’s Name Change:

Learn how to change your D2L name. Avoid last-minute chaos by not missing any steps.

  • Select “student” from my LoneStar drop-down menu.
  • Click the Profile tab.
  • Under Profile, click Add to add a name.
  • Set “Type” to Preferred. Click the Save button to save your name.
  • New student search & enrollment
  • Enter your Lone Star College account and password to access myLoneStar.
  • Student Homepage: Manage Classes. You must have classes planned before registering.

Plan and Register for Courses show your degree plan in the top left corner. Update or change your degree plan by contacting your campus’s Academic Advising Office. Click “Register” to register.

Choose the term in the Schedule Builder to select class parts.

Enroll in Classes from the drop-down menu. If Enroll in Classes doesn’t show, contact your campus’s Academic Advising Office. Schedule Builder’s Trash Can button deletes courses.

  • Click “Choose Class” to select a course.
  • Class Search Results display open classes, credit classes, and your home campus. By clicking X or Clear All, you can alter the Class Search Results settings.
  • Course information lists session type, dates, times, room, location, and instructor. Blue links provide class information.
  • Class information includes meeting details, enrollment info, class availability, textbooks, and notes. Close the glass pane.
  • Clicking on a part selects it.
  • When you’re done, click Finish under Enroll in Classes. Yes, continue enrollment.
  • Select the appropriate radio button, then click Next.
  • Green checkmarks indicate successful course enrollment.
  • The left pane, View My Classes, shows enrolled courses (s). Visit the Enrollment Deadlines.

You’ve registered. To enroll in more courses, click Return to Keyword Search Page.
