Hearts are reportedly joining the race for Newcastle midfielder Garang Kuol, according to reports. The former Sunderland midfielder is said to be on the move, as are Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure and Huddersfield Town striker Florian Kamberi.
Fulham lining up a move for Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure
The Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure is a target for Fulham. The Mali international has fallen out of favour at Goodison Park. He has made just three starts for the Premier League side this season.
Marco Silva, Fulham’s manager, worked with Doucoure at Watford and is keen to bring him back to Craven Cottage. However, the 30-year-old’s transfer has stalled due to his high wages and wage demands.
Doucoure could be a good signing for Fulham, as he would add experience to a young side. His passing ability would also be a help, as Everton concede a lot of goals due to their poor passing.
Meanwhile, Fulham are looking to add right-back and central midfielder to their squad. Cedric Soares, an Arsenal player, is being considered, as is Idrissa Gana Gueye.

Man Utd targeting Memphis Depay or Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
It is no secret that Manchester United have been on the lookout for a new marquee asset in the last 18 months. But the competition is not a one horse race. Those staking their claims include FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Real Madrid. A number of notable names have made bids on the Dutchman. So, which of the big three will be the last man standing?
One of the more successful bids, though, was a move to the west coast in the form of a move from the Indomitable Lions. As a result, the club has signed up winger Bryan Mbeumo and goalkeeper Jack Butland. Interestingly, both were loaned out to the aforementioned team, and not by the likes of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. However, a return to the fabled red and white striped shirts may be a stretch too far.
Chelsea attempting to navigate that sizing up of a fee
Abramovich is no longer in charge at Chelsea and the club is preparing for the next chapter of its history. The biggest question on everyone’s mind is what to do with the best player in the world and the club’s biggest prize draw. It’s been a busy few years for the Blues, a storied history whose time may well come to an end. There have been a slew of high-profile transfers this summer and it appears the club will be in the market for some time to come. Hopefully, this will be the start of something better.
As it stands, no team in the Premier League has won a trophy since 2012. While Abramovich’s tenure isn’t likely to last forever, it’s a shame no one is willing to take the reigns. Thankfully, the club has its wits about it and a few smart signings should help keep them on track for the next few years.
Huddersfield Town confirm signing of Swiss-born striker Florian Kamberi
Huddersfield Town are poised to make a move for a player with an impressive track record of scoring goals. The club have confirmed that Florian Kamberi has signed a deal with them. This is the second signing of the January transfer window.
The striker has already shown that he is ready to work hard in order to get a chance. He has already earned two Swiss U21 call-ups, as well as a first call-up for Albania.
Kamberi started his youth career in Switzerland with Grasshoppers, where he scored 24 goals in 58 appearances. In 2015, he was sent on a loan spell to Karlsruher SC.
He then spent two seasons at Sheffield Wednesday. During this time, he scored four goals in 23 League One appearances. However, he has struggled to find regular form elsewhere. His loan spell at Rangers in the second half of the season was not successful.
Hearts boss Robbie Neilson admits he would jump at chance to sign ‘huge prospect’ Garang Kuol
Hearts are currently chasing a loan signing and have made a pitch for one of the most sought after players in world football. One of the stars of the A-League, Kuol has been spotted in England earlier this week.
The Australian is believed to have already made his mark on Newcastle United. He is expected to make his Premiership debut in the next few weeks. While the deal is still in its infancy, the club are expected to pay a hefty six-figure sum.
One of the main reasons that Kuol has caught the eye of the sporting establishment is his impressive feats in the World Cup. During the tournament, he made a notable contribution to Australia’s progress, including a dazzling performance as a substitute against Argentina in the semi-finals.
