Pfizer wants to vaccinate 5-11 year olds in Canada

Pfizer-Bioentech has applied for permission to vaccinate children between the ages of 5 and 11 in Canada.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The news agency AFP quoted Pfizer-Bioentech and the Canadian government as saying. Pfizer-Bioentech submitted the application to the country’s regulatory body Health Canada on Monday.

Health Canada has issued a statement regarding the application from Pfizer-Bioentech. Health Canada has received an application seeking coronary vaccination for children between the ages of 5 and 11, it said . This is the first time such an application has been submitted to Health Canada.

Pfizer-Bioentech has already been approved in Canada to vaccinate children 12 years and older. Now the two organizations are seeking permission to vaccinate children between the ages of 5 and 11 in Canada.

A total of 2,026 children between the ages of 5 and 11 in Canada were recently tested on a Pfizer-Bioentech coronary vaccine. In this case, the dose per injection was less than 10 micrograms. This is three times less than the full dose.

Pfizer-Bioentech says it considers doses less than 10 micrograms appropriate for children aged 5 to 11 years.

Pfizer-Bioentech wants to vaccinate children between the ages of 5 and 11 in Canada based on the results of the experimental application. That’s why they applied to the country’s regulatory body for approval of the vaccine.

Health Canada says the data submitted by the Pfizer-Bioentech ticker will be reviewed in a unique and scientific way. Only children between the ages of 5 and 11 will be allowed to be vaccinated if the review shows that the benefits outweigh the risks.

Other companies producing corona vaccines are also testing their vaccines on children of different ages, according to the Canadian Ministry of Health.

Earlier this month, Pfizer-Bioentech made a similar request in the United States to vaccinate children between the ages of 5 and 11.

Many countries have already allowed children over the age of 12 to be vaccinated. The number of countries allowing corona vaccine for children under this age is staggering.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently said that it is more important to build immunity among adults in poor countries before vaccinating children and adolescents in rich countries. Pfizer-Bioentech corona ticker was introduced in Canada in December 2020.
