Russian President Vladimir Putin has not made any major announcements about Ukraine in celebration of World War II Victory Day. He has tried to justify the ‘special operation’ given on February 24. News of the Guardian.

Speaking at the military parade, Putin said he was compelled to announce a special operation and that it was a timely and appropriate decision.

Standing in front of more than 10,000 Russian troops in Moscow’s Red Square, Putin claimed that the West was planning to invade Crimea. Due to which there was no alternative to the campaign in the hands of Moscow.
Putin said NATO countries did not want to hear from us. They had different plans that we saw. They were planning to invade our historic land, including Crimea. Russia has taken retaliatory measures against the aggression.

Russia celebrates its 7th victory day on Monday against Germany’s Nazi forces in World War II. On that day, Putin appeared in Moscow’s Red Square and witnessed the military parade.

According to the Guardian, on Victory Day, Putin did not declare a formal war against Ukraine or a general mobilization. He also did not threaten a nuclear war.

However, Putin did not indicate a reduction in the intensity of the conflict. However, some analysts have speculated that Putin will announce the end of the war by announcing victory in Donbass.
