Production
Filming of Sasural Simar Ka 2 started in March 2021. Dipika Kakar was signed, reprising her role of Simar Bhardwaj through the first promo. Jayati Bhatia was selected to play the role of Mataji in a cameo and perform a new role of Badi Maa.
The series is mainly filmed in Naigaon, Maharashtra. In April, May and June 2021, many scenes were shot near the Taj Mahal because of the lockdown in Maharashtra.

Sasural Simar Ka 2 Story
This drama serial had Reema Narayan and Simar, two sisters with different personalities. Simar aspired to be a singer, while Reema dreamt of being a model. Vivaan Oswal and Aarav Oswal were cousins who liked each other. Reema married Vivaan to take revenge on Simar.
Simar and Aarav got married but divorced on Geetanjali’s insistence. Simar then started focussing on her musical dreams.
Once Simar went to give an audition. There she met Samar. He was the adopted son of a renowned singer, Yamini Devi. Soon Simar and Samar fell in love with each other. They wanted to marry. But Aarav did not wish Simar to marry Samar because he started yearning for her.
At last, Aarav became successful with again marrying Simar. But they suffered a lot because their family didn’t accept the marriage. Even Aarav’s share in the house was lost. Reema began conspiring against Simar.
On the other side, Aditi and Gagan loved each other, but Gagan got engaged to another girl. This was heartbroken for Aditi. Then Aditi had to marry another man. Later, the family learned about Aditi being pregnant with Gagan’s child.
The family decided to kill Gagan, but Simar saved him. Aditi was hospitalized due to tension. Gagan said that he needed Aditi and his child in every situation. Samar helped Simar in Sangeet. Hence, the story continues.
