Star Wars is the greatest science fiction franchise ever. Period.

A franchise that has dominated our lives for decades has high repeat value and a following that is more loyal to the characters than to their own family.

Every movie and every scene has so many Easter eggs that even if you think you are the biggest fan, you can miss out on an important clue or foreshadowing. This could happen even if you go back again and watch all Star Wars movies in order.

For example, there have been too many, but specific, clone movies and heel turns that you can get confused or experience a memory loss because there’s only so much Star Wars content that your mind can accumulate and store in a short span of time.

But that’s the beauty of this magnanimous series. There’s so much to absorb and so much to be entertained by.

Here are the top 20 great Star Wars moments that we think you might have missed.

Character Arc of Ahsoka & Inspiration

Dave Filoni has revealed that he based Ahsko primarily on two iconic characters – Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia and Obi-Wan. On one hand, Princess Leia represents what a good leader should be like during war, and on the other hand, Obi-Wan represents what a soldier is like after the War.

Hence, what you see is Ashoka who starts off as a soldier who eventually becomes a leader who has seen the dark times of the war.

Boba Fett’s Face Reveal

Although there are conspiracy theories of Temuera being a time traveler, it was actually Jeremy Bulloch whose face was revealed under the helmet while they were in Cloud City. This is also the time when you first see Jeremy Bulloch, not as Boba Fett, but as Lieutenant Sheckil.

Same Production Crew as The Original Star Wars

The Space Odyssey was released in 2001 and it had the same crew as the original Star Wars movie. George Lucas was the person behind it as he claimed to be a huge Kubrick fan. This was, in a way, his homage to the legend.

Three Actors – One Character

Here’s a fun fact, there is one episode in season 1 when Pedro Pascal doesn’t appear in the series even once. In fact, Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder are stepping in his shoes for the episode and have sometimes done his stunts as well. Pedro is a busy man indeed.

Darth Maul has blinked only three times in the entire movie. One of those is the time when Obi-Wan beats him and his lightsaber and body gets cut into half and he is about to fall into the pit. And so, if you look at him all throughout the movie, you will only see his yellow eyes.

Wat Tambor Steals The Lost Ark

There was a brief moment when Tambor was ruling Ryloth, there was a time when he realized that he had to evacuate and leave the planet. What he did next was steal the most valuable item ever: the Ark of the Covenant.

Star Wars Novel Reference

Lucasfilms made a genius move by bridging the gap between Empire and Return of the Jedi. This obviously resulted in several video games, merchandise, toys, and even a book series. One of the books was enven titled the same – Shadows of the Empire. It was mentioned in one of the scenes with Mos Eisley.

Samuel L. Jackson Has Something Engraved on His Lightsaber

This is not completely verified but Samuel L. Jackson has claimed that he has an engraving of “bad motherf***** on his lightsaber. It is highly possible that the claim is true but since we don’t have any picture indicating as proof, we can only call it a rumor.

The Iconic Chewbacca Voice

Do you know where the Chewbacca voice comes from? Well, we will only say that you must not recreate it in front of a lion, seal or a walrus because it is actually an amalgamation of all three. Yikes. And what makes it all even more interesting is the fact that Chewbacca is a Russian word that means a Dog.

The George Lucas Introduction

Did you know that George Lucas was accidentally introduced in a cameo in the very first episode of the Mandalorian? It can be difficult to recognize him in a beard, though.

Ewok is not actually a dialogue

The screenplay of the Return of the Jedi as well as the credits at the end of the movie has Ewok written on it. But the strange thing is that, it was never really a dialogue spoken in the movie. Apparently, Lucas coined this word when he was fluttering with the word wookie around – don’t know how it’s connected but if he said it, it’s iconic.

A 40 Year Old Footage

The most fascinating fact about Rogue One is the fact that it used footage that was skipped in its original movie but made it, after 40 long years, into this one. It was, according to the director Gareth Edwards, one of the archives from A New Hope.

That Time They Referenced a Blooper

Okay this is one of those facts that are incredibly hard to believe in. Apparently, there is a strange bonk sound effect that was actually inspired by a blooper and turned into a massive CGI sequence in one of the movies. This is when the stormtrooper hits his head on one of the doors.

Lucas Gave Ideas That Made into The Last Jedi

Lucas has many ideas and so you can call the series his baby. But there are some ideas that he had shared earlier that now took shape into reality – the addition of a female Jedi.

Harrison Ford’s Depressing Dialogue

Remember that time Harrison Ford was included in The Force Awaken? Well, there is a scene in the movie where Ray tells him that he is Han Solo to which Harrison Ford responds that he used to be. Okay let the flood of tears fall.

The Soundtrack – Always the Second Best

J.J. Abrahams has worked with Michael Giacchio too many times in the past. In fact, Michael himself has worked with incredible directors like Wes Anderson and in movies like Spiderman: No Way Home.

But The Force Awakens was the first time when Abrahams ditched Michaep, and guess what, there was no bad blood between the two.

A Reference to The Godfather?

Although this rumor is not yet confirmed, many people believe that Star Wars has made two references to the other greatest franchise of all time – The Godfather. A very gangster movie.

When The X-Wing was Recycled

We mentioned above how many props of the Star Wars are inspired by our everyday tools, right. So here’s another one. Luke literally used one of the X-wing to make a door.
