The agency said not being able to see the moon on Saturday would mean the last day of the holy month of Ramadan would be tomorrow, Sunday.
The IAC said in a statement on Saturday that it had been able to identify the moon at the end of the month of Ramadan. Which means it will be almost impossible to see the moon of Shawwal on this day from all the countries of the Islamic world.
Eid is usually celebrated in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and other Asian countries in keeping with the Middle East. As in the Middle East, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Tuesday, the next day in Bangladesh.
