The 146th Westminster Dog Show is set to begin over the weekend, with most of the events occurring on Tuesday and Wednesday, including the crowning of the prestigious “Best in Show” award Wednesday evening.
The event will take place at the Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, New York once again. It’s the second straight year the Westminster Dog Show will be held away from the familiar confines of Madison Square Garden.
As has been the case since 2017, Fox Sports owns the broadcast rights to the dog show. As a result, Fox and its affiliates will broadcast the event with FS1 being the primary location for the broadcast. The Fox Sports app will have all of the network’s streamable content options.

The Westminster Dog Show celebrated its 145th anniversary in 2021. It will return for the 146th consecutive year in 2022.
The title “Best in Show” is again up for grabs, and dog show aficionados will be eager to see which breed takes home the top prize in 2022. Plenty of breed judging will be broadcast live, and the Master Agility Championship finals will be shown live as well.
Fox and its sister channels will broadcast the 2022 Westminster Dog show. The networks will offer coverage four of the five days. Fox will broadcast the ever-popular agility trials on Sunday, June 19, and FS1 and FS2 will do most of the heavy lifting after that.
What time is the Westminster Dog Show on TV?
The Westminster Dog Show will be broadcast on TV Sunday through Wednesday of the five-day event. Fox, FS1 and FS2 will offer coverage at the following times each day:
Sunday, June 19: 12:30-3 p.m. ET
Monday, June 20: 1-4 p.m. ET
Tuesday, June 21: 1-4 p.m. ET and 7-11:30 p.m. ET
Wednesday, June 22: 1-4 p.m. ET and 7-11:30 p.m. ET

This year the number of dog breeds eligible for the Westminster Dog Show has grown to 211, with the American Kennel Club officially recognising two new breeds. The Hungarian farm dog Mudi will join the Herding group, while the small Russian Toy is being added to the Toy Group.

Additionally, there will be 17 hours of live coverage from the show on FS1 and FS2, two and a half hours of the Agility Finals on FOX, an eight-hour live simulcast in Spanish on FOX Deportes, and 17 hours of live simulcast on Sportsnet in Canada.
