Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate Lucknow Metro for public on 5th September


Communication Based Train Control System (CBTC) says the Lucknow Metro will have most
advanced signaling and train control system which will permit trains to virtually function on
“driverless” mode.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will flag off the the first train followed by Yogi Adityanath.
The project Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) started in Uttar Pradesh on September 27,
2014 and is finally starting on 5th September. Akhilesh Yadav laid the foundation stone for
phase-1, the North-South Metro Rail passageway project on March 4, 2014.
