Macron also reiterated his “deep concern” over Russia’s bombing of Ukrainian cities and the “plight” of the southern port city of Mariupol.

This information was given in a live update given by the British media BBC Online on Saturday about the war in Ukraine. The United States, France and other allies have supplied hundreds of long-range missiles to Kiev to repel Moscow’s attack on eastern Ukraine.

The French president added that more than 615 tons of French aid provided to Ukraine included medical equipment, generators for hospitals, food and emergency transport.
