Greenville is the most scenic and one of the most loved places that the locals and the tourists love alike. A place that was once a small town has now grabbed the status of a metropolitan city with a lot of homes for sale Greenville SC.

This is probably one of the few downtowns that boast amazing waterfalls and tall mountains along with the hustle and bustle of regular city life.

It Has An Amazing Museum

The Greenville museum has a very contemporary feel to it. If you are an Andrew Wyeth fan, then this small but great museum holds his entire watercolor collection. Apart from him, the museum also has amazing works by artists like Andrew Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe.

Children’s Museum of the Upstate

This museum is specifically designed for the younger minds to encourage them to participate in different activities, games, and hands-on experiments. It comes with sensory spaces, climbing structures, science labs, and play areas with different themes. This museum is a great place to keep your kids entertained throughout the day. 

Table Rock State Park Has Some Amazing Outdoor Activities

Whether you live in Greenville or visit it, going to the Table Rock State Park is a must. This place not only offers you some amazing outdoor activities but this place has got some really beautiful scenic views as well. You can hike the Pinnacle Mountain or swim in one of the lakes.

Greenville Zoo

If you have kids who believe that no zoo is a zoo unless there is no lion in it, then this zoo is a must-visit place. The zoo was established in 1960 and is home to various animals from around the world.

You get to see lions, red pandas, and chimpanzees along with antlers and giraffes as well. There is a separate portion for farm animals. There is a reptile house as well.

The best thing about the zoo is that you can go on a safari as well. The zoo also has cabins and you can always stay in one of them for an ultimate experience.

One City Plaza and Noma Square

Greenville downtown is home to two of the coolest open gathering places – One City Plaza and Noma Square. You can enjoy everything from some amazing food, to free yoga and dancing activities. If you have a dog then “yappy hours” are held every day for the doggos as well.

Both the places have some awesome shopping options available. You can even take a candle-making class as well. Do not forget to grab some amazing chocolates made by the local confectioners.

Visiting Falls Park is A Must

The Falls Park is the crown jewel of Greenville and one of its kind. It has a variety of things that you can do. You can spend your entire day there and not get bored at all.
