For anyone attractive to actualize a able Holy Warrior in Lords of the Fallen, this is the absolute adviser for you

Here,we are breaking down one of the best Radiance builds in Lords of the Fallen, going over the best stats, weapons, rings, and spells to use.

If you want to quickly upgrade your class or weapons, be sure to buy Lords of the Fallen Vigor at IGGM.com.

Best Starting Class

For this Radiance build, the Orian Preacher is the best starting class. It’s the most optimized, and it offers the highest Radiance stat out of all the other classes.

The starting weapon, catalyst, spells, and equipment are more than capable of handling every enemy in the game until you’re able to at least find everything on this build and buy LotF Vigor a lot during your playthrough.

Stats

The main stats to focus on include Endurance, Vitality and Radiance.

Lords of the Fallen Stats

You do want to invest some points and Lords of the Fallen Items into Strength. I would recommend increasing this to at least 12 just so you can wield a shield with your main weapon.

Endurance directly affects your character stamina as well as your weight limit. So, basically, the higher your stamina, the easier will be to dodge. execute consecutive attacks. and equip heavier armor if needed.

Vitality directly affects your character’s HP. And this stat should be your main priority until you get it somewhere around 20.

Note: Most of these starting weapons have weak attribute scaling and you’re already starting the game with 18 Radiance, which is more than enough for early game.

Radiance is the most important stat on the build. With Radiance, you can cast radiant spells, equip radiant catalysts, and wield specific weapons that require Radiance (e.g. Pieta’s Sword, one of the best Radiance weapons in Lords of the Fallen). Radiance also boosts your Mana bar as well.

Main Weapon

The main weapon on this build is Pieta’s Sword.

Now, even though this weapon is categorized as a short sword, it still manages to offer incredible range thanks to the weapon’s overall design.

Lords of the Fallen Pieta's Sword

This powerful weapon deals holy damage while inflicting smite on enemies, making it one of the best in slot weapons for literally any Radiance build.

If this wasn’t enough to convince you, it’s also obtained from the first boss, which means you can unlock this amazing weapon and use it super early in the game. All you have to do is offer the remembrance to Molhu at Skyrest in the Umbral Realm.

I currently have this weapon fully upgraded +5 with 3 runes equipped:

  • The first rune is the Orimon, which increases Radiance attribute scaling.
  • The Crafter’s Essence lowers weapon’s Weight and Stat Requirement to zero, allowing you to equip heavier armor if needed.
  • The last rune, called Ruq, increases posture damage and works amazingly when combined with the Hallowed Triptych (which increases posture damage when using holy weapons).

Keep in mind: the further you upgrade this weapon, the more Rune Slots will be available to you.

You can see your ‘A -‘ scaling for Radiance, which means the higher your Radiance stat, the more damage Pieta’s Sword will deal.

Shield

I’m also using a shield on this build just to help with survivability. Lighter equipment loads will make your character more agile and will unlock the ability to execute more consecutive attacks before your stamina bar is completely depleted. So, it’s basically high risk, high reward.

Lords of the Fallen Hollowed Knight Shield

The Shield I’m using is the Hollowed Knight Shield. This is a medium shield, so it offers decent damage negation and it’s not super heavy.

Once fully upgraded, the Hollowed Knight Shield will provide almost 50% block protection, meaning you’ll only take half the damage from enemy attacks.

To equip this shield, you need at least 12 Strength and 8 Agility. My Hollow Knight shield is fully upgraded with three runes currently equipped:

  • The first rune, called Aelstrix, increases maximum ammunition capacity for throwable weapons.
  • The next rune, called Dimexus, increases maximum stamina regeneration rate, which is great to have, especially when combined with the ring on this build.
  • The last rune, called Gravix, increases maximum equipment load even further.

Catalyst

Now, this is a Radiance build, which means you can cast Radiance spells. You can use any radiant catalyst you like.

I chose the Wilmarc’s Catalyst, which you can find pretty early in the game located in the swamp area. I managed to upgrade this catalyst to unlock four spell slots.

It also has decent attribute scaling, which is ‘B+’ for a catalyst that isn’t even fully upgraded yet. The further you upgrade this catalyst, the more damage your spells will deal.

Best Radiance Spells

The spells you use are going to change depending on the combat scenario.

But I will say, if I had to choose, Piercing Light, Radiant Weapon, Sanctify, and Consecrate are the most versatile radiant spells in the game.

Piercing Light summons a charged and piercing burst of radiant magic towards your enemies. There’s a lot of ranged enemies in this game, so I would highly recommend always having access to this spell.

Lords of the Fallen Piercing Light

Radiant Weapon is interesting. You would think because Pieta’s Sword deals holy damage, you wouldn’t be able to imbue it with Radiance. But you actually can. And it makes the weapon way more devastating to your enemies. This buff works hand in hand with the rings on this build to help you do tons of posture damage and destroy everything.

Sanctify is a great spell to have because it provides a source of healing over time and it also cleanses you of all status effects, which is why I think it’s one of the best spells in the game. The duration is long and it will keep you alive in situations when you run out of healing potions.

Consecrate is the last spell on the build and it provides the one thing we were missing, Damage Over Time. This spell blesses the ground with a holy sigil, which damages any enemy who walks into it.

Rings

The Hallowed Triptych is one of the best Lords of the Fallen Items on this build. This item is located at the Manse of the Hollowed Brothers. It is a valuable asset to the build because it makes your holy damage deal more posture damage. And if you remember, we have a rune on Pieta’s Sword that increases posture damage even further.

The Mineowner’s Ring is one of the best rings in the game. It increases stamina. It can even increase your stamina regeneration rate. This is huge for survivability. Combine this with a light equipment load and you will feel unstoppable!

And lastly, the Bramble Ring, which lets you gain health every time you inflict smite on your enemies. This works incredibly well by the way when you combine it with the sanctify spell that heals you over time, giving you two sources of healing, which can be huge in situations when you’re going up against a tough enemy or if you’re dealing with a mob.
