The episode starts with Asmita seeing Peter and Abhimanyu talking. Abhimanyu feels that Asmita is watching him, so when he sees her, he looks away. Asmita scolds herself for her behavior. After some time, she looks for Abhimanyu, who is not there. Abhimanyu comes to her side and asks his ward’s opinion. Asmita says it is beautiful. Abhimanyu asks if there is anything he particularly likes. Asmita acts and says all parts are equally beautiful and then asks which part she liked in the book. Abhimanyu wonders what game Asmita is playing with him and then leaves the place, saying that he is looking for opinions to learn to improve himself.
Asmita smiles and says now it is her turn to torture Abhimanyu. Shalini takes Asmita from the door. Later, Maya is shocked to see Peter on her laptop. She learns her truth but hides it from him when Peter asks if he can catch the suspect. Here, Abhimanyu himself says that he will manage to control Asmita, which the latter does not even know. He then says that Asmita has to control herself or else she will fall in love with him. Meanwhile, Asmita reads the next chapter and reimagines herself and Abhimanyu’s character. She then tells herself that she never thought she would fall in love with Abhimanyu’s writings and smiles.
The next day, Asmita realizes that she will be late for the office, so she rushes to leave the house, but Abhimanyu calls her. She is shocked to see him shirtless but hides it and asks him the reason for calling. Abhimanyu asks him to give his opinion about his chapter. Asmita hides her smile and says it is beautiful. Abhimanyu gets angry and questions his editing skills. Asmita says her chapters are beautiful and interesting. She then advises him to wear a white shirt under the blazer and then hang up. Her grandmother teases her, but Asmita tells her that they are trying to be good friends, nothing but resignation. At Fresh Print, Bani tells Raman about her idea to restart her book.
Raman suggests publishing a new book about her, but Bani refuses and insists that this time the book will get the recognition it needs. She then asks him if Abhimanyu is aware of all this. Raman says he hasn’t told Abhimanyu yet. Bani makes the deal for him. Raman decides to leave, but Rizwan arrives and looks at Raman and Bani. Here Asmita realizes that she forgot her luck at their office, so she tells Devi that next time she will bring her mother’s handmade food and rushes to meet Abhimanyu.
She feels bad about meeting him and blames herself for the feeling as Abhimanyu didn’t even apologize to her and enters. She gets angry to see that Abhimanyu is not wearing the white shirt she suggested to him but hides it and talks to him about the third chapter. Abhimanyu approaches her. Asmita gets confused. Dev interrupts and calls Asmita potluck. Asmita invites Abhimanyu and he obliges. The other half Rizwan appears and introduces himself as Abhimanyu’s good friend, who also expresses his happiness at signing with Fresh Print and takes a selfie with Raman. Raman leaves.
Rizwan threatens Bani. Bani tries to defend her actions. Here, Asmita praises every flavored dish. Hearing this, Abhimanyu realizes that Asmita refuses to praise her chapter with anything but “beautiful”. So she makes him handle his chapter in a different way. Asmita hides her smile from Abhimanyu. Chapter ends.
