The Real Social Company develops goods and services that improve society. Instead of permanently putting technology between the relationships in a human-to-device-to-human way, a Real Social Company instead develops a technology solution that is briefly employed to promote human-to-human connectedness.

Many of the current social media platforms are effective at establishing connections and easing communication between existing contacts, but have they increased social interaction among people? Although most individuals in the developed world utilize these social platforms, they are becoming more and more conscious of the detrimental impact they have on their “actual” social life. Whatever your stance, there is no denying that social media has significantly influenced individual behavior and society.

Existing’real social’ enterprises include doodle, Y plan, and meetup.com. Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook (although Facebook events would be considered true social), and Tinder are examples of “conventional social” enterprises. Social communication apps like WhatsApp, Skype, Slack, and Facebook Messenger are not real social communication platforms (even when using video-to-video communication).

My firm, Real Social Tech Ltd., is situated in London and works to improve society by developing technological solutions encourage human-physical interaction. Our goal is to provide an alternative to the current trend of developing social technology that causes physical distance between individuals.

A real social business does more than merely offer an alternative to the products or services offered by a standard social business. Additionally, its internal culture, ideals, and goals are completely distinct. I’ve included the following Real Social Tech ideals to give you an idea:

A social insight-driven corporation examines how technology and human behavior relate to one another to meet a human need that hasn’t yet been defined or adequately met.

Prioritizing society over users

Users’ demands and desires should never precede those of the larger society. We think the user will profit if we concentrate on the welfare of humanity as a whole because we all share the same social environment. Companies that prioritize the user can create excellent technology, but they frequently do so at the expense of society as a whole and frequently have a less sustainable economic strategy. On the surface, many of these businesses are addressing user issues. Still, they may foster a new culture that influences society and our genuine interactions with people over time. Real Social Tech maintains that people are fundamentally good at heart.

Technology is developed to support human social behavior in its natural state.

Many good human behaviors that have developed through thousands of years to build the foundation of a better society are being replaced or suppressed by the development of technology. Civilized humankind has lived for thousands of years. Never forget that humans are the true masters of technology, not the other way around.

Technology should never undermine interpersonal interactions but rather be used to enhance them.

Our products should be as quick, easy, and feasible as possible.

Not only because we, like our competitors, seek to improve the user experience with our technology but also because excellent social software should serve a purpose before moving on. This idea runs counter to the survival strategy of nearly all social businesses: to keep users plugged into their technology for as long as possible.

A dating site is Real Social Tech’s first venture. There must be some meaningful, authentic social alternatives in the dating industry. Many unhappy users who are fed up with how online dating works may be found among the success stories they market so successfully, but what other options do they have? Users tend to congregate where the crowd is already present, much like the social media’s big boys, at least until they are directed in a different direction.

Traditional social media platforms will always have a use case, particularly for recording and disseminating communications. I believe we utilize technology too much, frequently replacing or minimizing the in-person interactions that allow us to “live in the moment.”
