Fatema Akhter, a two-year-old girl, died after her parents were killed in a fridge compressor explosion at a house in Konapara area of Jatrabari police station in the capital.

They were rescued in a burnt condition and admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at around 5 am. While undergoing treatment there, on Sunday (April 24), his wife died at around 4 pm daily. Khadija Akter (25) and her husband Abdul Karim (30) died at around 8 am.
Kamal Hossain, who brought the burnt people to the hospital, told Jago News that the burnt Abdul Karim was his brother. He has a grocery store in the area. Her fianc, brother and two-year-old niece were burnt when the compressor of the fridge suddenly exploded around 3:30 pm on Wednesday. They were immediately rescued and admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn Institute.

Dhaka Medical College (DMC) hospital police camp in-charge (inspector) said. Bachchu Mia said that after the death of the burnt husband and wife in Jatrabari Konapara area, their two year old child Fatima also died. The body has been kept in Dhamek morgue. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
