The most well-known app store worldwide is the Google Play Store. Additionally, it serves as a one-stop shop for all of your media needs, including games, movies, e-books, and more. It’s not just a place where you can find your favourite apps. While the majority of the listings on the store are free, you can also download many other, more expensive, premium options. Did you know that making purchases now also entitles you to other things in addition to giving you access to more premium apps.

Users who make purchases from the Play Store can earn points and rewards through the Google Play Points programme. These transactions cover everything from games and apps to in-app purchases and subscriptions. Additionally, your rewards rise in accordance with the level you are at; the more money you spend on purchases, the more points you earn, and the higher tier you move up to.

You begin at the Bronze level, where 1 point is awarded for every $1 spent. When you reach 150 points, you advance to the Silver tier, where you receive 1.1 points for every dollar spent. When you reach 600 points in Gold, that benefit increases to 1.2 points per dollar, and when you reach 3,000 points or more in Platinum, the benefit increases to 1.4 points per dollar. Google has not yet explained how the points will apply to Indian rupees, though. Depending on your level, you will also receive better extra benefits, such as in-game point events, book multipliers, platinum weekly prizes, and premium support.

However, it’s possible that it will take less work to earn more points in India given that apps and games on the Play Store are typically much more affordable than when they are bought in dollars. But since Google hasn’t yet disclosed details about points-per-rupee-spent in India, this is just conjecture.

Open the Play Store, tap the profile icon in the top right, then select Play Points to register for the programme. If you want to buy something from the Play Store, now is the time to do it since you will earn five times as many Play Points in your first week.

Please keep in mind that Play Points are only valid for in-app purchases made through the Google Play Store.

Once you’ve accumulated enough fine points, you can exchange them for Google Play Credit to spend on the Play Store as you please. But it doesn’t stop there; you can use them to purchase discounted in-app or in-game items or use coupons to purchase exclusive in-app or in-game items.
