Who doesn’t love a ponytail, right? It is one of the easiest hairstyles ever that can slay your outfit. People believe that ponytails end up damaging your hair, which is true to some extent. If you tie your hair too hard, then sure, you will harm them. I have always been a fan of ponytails and found some great solutions to stop them from damaging your hair. I have made a list of them down below, so keep on reading and keep your hair thick and healthy!

1- Do not Tie Your Hair When They Are Wet

This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. They end up tying their hair in a ponytail when they are. Remember, your hair is the weakest when they are wet. They are going to harm your hair this way, nothing else. You need to make sure to dry them thoroughly before you tie them up. This way, you can keep your hair healthy.

2- Use Argan Oil

If you want to keep your hair safe and secure, it is best to oil them. I use argan oil for my hair which keeps them healthy and safe from split ends. Argan oil is also known for absorbing quickly and doesn’t leave your hair feeling greasy at all. The one I use is from JuvaBun. Initially, I was never really a fan of hair oils. However, since I was going through a lot of hair fall and split ends, my friend recommended this hair oil to me. I thought it wouldn’t do any good, but once I used it, I fell in love with it! I don’t even remember the number of bottles I have used up till now.

3- Use Wigs

Want to give your hair a break from hairstyles? Then one of the best ways to do so is by getting ponytail wigs matching your original hair color. You can even go for hair extensions if you want. Simply wear a wig and give your hair rest. I do this literally every other day, and I love it. I got some amazing wigs from JuvaBun in different colors to change my look every now and then. I got one in my original hair color as well. I wear them so much, and they are not damaged at all. They still look good as new. I got them for a discount, and they were so much cheaper compared to other brands out there.

4- Use Serums

I always use a hair serum before styling my hair. I also use a deep conditioner by JuvaBun. The conditioner gives my hair such a smooth and silky look. I never miss out on these two steps as they are essential to protect my hair from damage when wrapped in a ponytail.

Slay in a Ponytail All Day Long!

Make sure to follow all the tips mentioned above and look sassy as ever! Remember, hair care is a lot more important than we actually think.
