You’ve probably heard of Harvard University as one of the top universities in the world and is known for creating. The difficulty of getting into Harvard is very low, with an acceptance rate of 3.19%; even if you were to have almost a perfect 4.0, the likelihood of getting in is extremely low, though many people have been able to do it. Harvard has created many known people to date, like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and John. D Rockefeller, Barack Obama, and Martin Luther King Jr. are just a few examples of the many successful individuals associated with Harvard. The University has a long and rich history of producing accomplished graduates in various fields. There are many success stories of alumni and faculty from Harvard University across many fields, and here are a few examples. 

Ulf Mark Schneider

Ulf Mark Schneider is a German-American businessman and the CEO of Nestlé. He got an MBA from the Harvard School of Business. He served in many different positions, from the CFO of a medical company in 2003. Then under the influence of Ulf, he was able to triple the number of employees that worked there and quadrupled the about of revenue that they were bringing in. He was a true Chief Finacial Officer. In 2016 he became the CEO of Nestle. He expanded into many different markets, like pet food, baby food, and coffee. He holds different stakes within many companies, including a well-known company, Starbucks. The business world is something that people can make a lot of money doing as long as they put in hard world and effort and bring the knowledge that they’ve learned from school into realityBenjamin Netanyahu is an Israeli Politician who serves as the prime minister of Israel to date.

Sheryl Sandberg

In 1987, Sandberg enrolled at Harvard College. She graduated in 1991 summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kapp with a Bachelor of Arts. She continues to progress in the business world, moving from accounting companies to all different aspects of the business world. She served as a secretary to Bill Clinton as Clinton’s chief of staff. She then met Mark Zuckerberg, and they became acquainted, and at the time, Mark Zuckerberg didn’t have a Chief Operating Officer (COO). Zuckerberg thought she was the perfect candidate, so she hired her in 2007, and she still stands in that position date. She’s also been on very many different boards, including Walt Disney. All in all, she has made a very successful career as a businesswoman, and it just shows that if you put your mind to something very strongly, you can achieve anything.  

Benjamin, Netanyahu

Benjamin, Graduated from Harvard in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He transferred over to the business world after graduating from Harvard and then MIT. He planned on getting a doctorate, but then because of the death of his brother, he cut short on going back home, where he was able to get a job as a consultant. He continued in the political world, running for certain positions. He had lost a few times but never gave up and was determined to move forward. He became the prime minister in 1996, held that position for a few years, and then again held it in 2001- to the current date. This short story shows that through life’s trials and tribulations, you can accomplish anything if you stay focused.
