Let’s be honest a lot of artists claim they are ready for the big stage and the spotlight. However, after a series of tests and opportunities that may come, only a few are able to push through. That old saying of “All are called, but few are chosen” couldn’t be more true. New artists emerge everyday in these times, but James is here to stay for the long haul. We believe that due to his diligence and true to the art sound and style. He’s a true student of the game. Coming out of Miami which is a city that’s known for more party and entertainment type of material, Roan keeps the true soul of hip-hip’s culture in his work. This can be seen in his visuals as well. He’s a laid back guy, well spoken with a smooth style, but he can turn it up at any given moment depending on the scenario or location with performances and whatnot. This is what makes him a versatile artist. James loves Music, Cars, Video Games, Sports like Boxing and Tennis which shows he’s a normal person. He’s a cool individual but his work ethic and true dedication to music is what makes him stand out from those reaching for the same crown he says he will acquire.
He’s released a few Mixtapes, EP’s and Albums over the years showing he can make cohesive full length projects. Also, in the world of film and visuals he has over a dozen music videos under his belt, as well as a few documentaries too. All of these things just add to his already stacked resume. James has the ability to run an empire if given the opportunity, hoping to direct movies and shows, as he’s already done so with his own documentaries. Online you find his own series of episode docs. Some may be random things like going to a boxing event, or his own performance at an event taking you behind the scenes, working out at the gym. His favorite one to date is the episode where he attended the Miami Web Fest. His popularity in rap is steadily growing thanks to his lyrical talents, immense flow and smooth delivery. In addition, he loves to add harmonies to his music for a touch of R&B. Storytelling, writing love songs and true tales about his experiences is what elevates his value to the game. His friend ‘Lil Ominous’ told him his music can “Touch a lot of people, but it has to touch the heart of people with art” and we believe James can do just that. Keep James on your radar as he will be at the top of the rap game for a very long time.
