Johnny Depp has made a rare red carpet appearance!
The actor and musician stepped out for SiriusXM’s Town Hall alongside Jeff Beck on Oct. 12 in New York. The duo are promoting their album “18.”
However, fans were quick to notice that there was something different about the 59-year-old actor’s appearance—he shaved off the signature goatee and mustache he has been rocking for decades.
The Pirates franchise alum, who donned blue jeans paired with a few layers of shirts topped with a weathered green jacket, also wasn’t wearing his blue-tinted glasses, though he did have them on his head, sweeping his shoulder-length locks back and keeping them in place.
The star also shocked with his clean-shaven look while greeting fans after a gig in New York.
The Edward Scissorhands actor looked happy and carefree as he sported a blue striped baker boy hat along with blue shades.
On multiple occasions, he was seen chatting with fans and posing for selfies.
Depp and Beck are currently on tour in the U.S. following a handful of appearances and performances in the U.K. after the conclusion of his highly-publicized defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.
They will perform at the Paramount in Huntington on both Friday and Saturday nights before returning to the stage in Red Bank, New Jersey on Tuesday night.
In September, it was announced that Depp is reportedly dating Joelle Rich, his attorney in his failed libel trial against The Sun in the U.K. He sued the outlet for referring to him as a “wife beater.”
