Bangladesh will start the fourth day with the dream of something magical.

The West Indies will need 35 runs to win at the end of the third day at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. West Indies lost 3 wickets and scored 49 runs. After being bowled out for 103 in the first innings, Bangladesh scored 245 in the second innings.

The Tigers held on to the West Indies vs bangladesh with a 64-run target. The full credit for this, of course, belongs to fast bowler Khaled Ahmed. He bowled a back-to-length ball in the very first ball of the second over of the innings, and was caught behind the wicket by Craig Brathwaite. He made 1 run from 2 balls.

Khaled defeated Raymon Reaper in the fifth ball of the over. He made 2 runs from 4 balls. In his next over, Khaled brought success to Bangladesh again.

This time his victim was Enkrumah Bonar. Khaled bowled the batter who scored 0 off 8 balls. But then John Campbell and German Blackwood formed a partnership. The pair came up with 40 runs. Campbell will start the fourth day with 26 off 42 balls and 18 off 36 balls.

Earlier, Nazmul Hasan Shant and Mahmudul Hasan Joy started the third day with 2 wickets for 50 runs. Bangladesh batsmen needed patience and perseverance to play from behind by 112 runs.

But Nazmul Hasan calmed down the opposite. He also hit two boundaries while playing aggressively. But he had to be defeated by Kyle Meyers in the end. Meyers swings out five balls in a row and puts the last ball inside. Going to play a shot with that ball, Shant gave a catch behind the wicket. He returned to the dressing room with 16 runs off 45 balls.bangla gurdian

Muminul Haque, another off-form batsman, could not stay at the crease for long after that. Muminul could not put the bat in the bat while defending the good length ball of Meyers, the ball hit his pad. Muminul could not change the decision of the umpire’s lbw even with the review.

Liton Kumar Das, who came down to play at No. 5, made a very confident start. He also hit three boundaries. But after scoring 16 off 15 balls, he was also caught out by Kemar Roach.

Mahmudul Hasan Joy added to the frustration of Bangladesh before lunch. At the other end of the wicket, the batsmen came and went, but the victory was quite stable. But he also got out with a catch behind the wicket till the end. Earlier, he scored 42 runs off 153 balls. After that Shakib and Sohan took the helm of the team. Bangladesh added 95 runs without losing any wicket in the second session.

Shakib led Bangladesh with all the offensive but controlled shots. Although Sohan made occasional disturbances, he was properly accompanying Shakib. But Bangladesh’s great run came to a halt after taking the second new ball. Shakib caught by Brathwaite off Kemar Roach. Sohan’s 123-run partnership with him broke down.

Shakib was dismissed for 63 off 99 balls in 6 four innings. Sohan was also dismissed for 74 off 147 balls in 11 overs. It didn’t take long for Bangladesh to be all out after that. The visitors were all out for 245 runs. Kemar Roach took 5 wickets for 53 runs in 24 overs with 5 balls to spare.
