Noorani Qaida is a book that teaches the basics of Arabic language and Quran recitation. It is also known as Qaidah Al Nourania or Qaidah Al Noorania. It was written by Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqqani, a renowned scholar of Quran and Tajweed.
Noorani Qaida Lesson 3 is about separately recited letters that appear at the beginning of some Surahs (chapters) of the Quran. These letters are also called Huroof e Muqatta’at or Muqatta’at Letters. They are recited as individual letters, not as a word. They have a special significance and meaning that only Allah knows.

It helps the student to recognize and pronounce each set correctly and confidently. It also prepares the student for the next lessons that cover more advanced topics such as sukoon, shadda, madda, hamza and tajweed rules.
