An overflowing crowd of passengers was seen at the Chandpur launch dock returning to work after the Eid holidays. From morning till night, launches from Chandpur, Dhaka and Narayanganj are leaving the ghat with enough passengers.

However, the crowd of passengers on Sunday was eye-catching. Thousands of passengers returned to Dhaka in 20 launches from Sunday morning to evening.
In the afternoon, a large number of passengers from Chandpur, Laxmipur, Noakhali and Shariatpur were seen at the launch dock. Passengers are getting up as soon as the launch arrives. Once the passengers are full, the launch is leaving for its destination.
According to BIWTA sources, 20 launches carrying passengers left Chandpur Ghat from Sunday morning till evening. 19 launches came from Dhaka. 11 launches arrived from Narayanganj, 16 left Chandpur for Narayanganj and two launches from Shariatpur left with passengers.
Raihan, a Dhaka-bound passenger from Raipur, said he had come home to celebrate Eid. I had a good time with my family during Eid. Now I am thinking of going to work safely.
Mohaiminul Islam, another passenger of Hajiganj Upazila, said he could not come home for Eid for the last two years due to corona. I came home before Eid this year. I have had a lot of fun with my parents with my wife and children. The kids in particular had a lot of fun coming home. Looking forward to going to work well now.
Chandpur Naval Police Officer (OC) said. Kamruzzaman said the pressure of Dhaka-bound passengers started increasing from Thursday. Our police members are on regular duty at the launch dock.
Chandpur Port and Transport Officer AKM Kaysarul Islam said there was pressure on Dhaka-bound passengers after the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. The situation at the terminal is normal as we have a sufficient number of launches. There is no reason for the general public to be concerned. Everyone will be able to reach their destination safely.
