Paws For The Forest Reveals New Campaign Push for 2023

Fort Lauderdale, FL Paws for the Forest, the digital movement created by natural pet product company Native Paw, has revealed an updated campaign strategy for the coming year. In 2022, the reforestation project was able to reach its goal of planting 500 trees in the Amazon rainforest with the help of the global online community it created. Now Paws for the Forest hopes to double that number in 2023.

The initial campaign was focused on social media, primarily Instagram, and invited those with canine compassion and interest in Amazonian reforestation to simply post a picture of themselves with their dog, tagging the movement as well as tagging their native country. Then, for each picture received, Paws for the Forest would plant a tree in the Amazon rainforest. 

Native Paw and Paws for the Forest founder Gilberto Novaes states that within the first two months of the initial campaign, his team was able to create the world’s largest online reforestation pet community. “In actuality,” he shares, “we’re among the first of our kind. We felt it was a novel concept to pair pet ownership with a desire to give back to the planet, and we’re very pleased with the success we’ve seen, both in the reforestation efforts and in our partners’ responses to our products.”

Paws for the Forest has plans to ramp up its efforts this year. Thus far, the organization has seen contributors from over 40 different countries showing a global interest in the efforts to rebuild the Amazon rainforest. Native Paw’s global initiative was created to foster an environment of sustainability, says Novaes. “We wanted to put together a community where humans, animals, and nature can unite and promote a culture of sustainability,” he states. “In particular, we at Native Paw hope to show other businesses that success is possible in alignment with environmental preservation.”

Native Paw is preparing to launch its e-commerce site, offering natural products with ethically sourced ingredients, many from the Amazon rainforest. “It was when we were formulating our products that we were struck by how diverse and rich the Amazonian biome is,” says Novaes, adding that the new products will feature ingredients like Maracuja for calming, Pracaxi as a moisturizer, Andiroba to fight fur loss, Copaiba oil as an antiseptic, Camu Camu for antioxidants and vitamin C,  and more.

“Sustainability is the key to keeping the ecosystem alive,” Novaes says. “Hence why we’re expanding the Paws for the Forest campaign this year. We want to challenge the world to become engaged with real change. A business can make the extra effort to follow sustainable practices and still experience success.”

Paws for the Forest, created by Native Paw, is a reforestation movement that works to protect and conserve wildlife habitats, particularly in the Amazon rainforest. The organization aims to protect endangered species and their habitats through scientific research, education, and community engagement.
