By 2026, skyscrapers in the form of clothespins will be built in Dubai.
The unique clothespin tower will be built in the city by 2026. The 50-story clothespin building will symbolize the strengthening of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and is going to be the world’s largest work of art.
The first information about the project appeared in February 2021. It is reported that the complex of two interconnected buildings will house a luxury hotel, art galleries, residential apartments and a shopping center, and will also receive digital currency.
The 170-meter skyscraper was designed by Israeli architect and artist Zaigo, known for his series of innovative sculptures. According to his idea, the clothespin will be a single complex of two identical halves looking at each other. The architect called his project a symbol of unity, love and peace.

Uptown Dubai is planned to be a mixed-use development that will house office space, apartments, a five-star hotel and restaurants. The building was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture and is expected to be Leed Gold certified.

Turkish architect Hairi Ataka has announced the construction of a skyscraper in Dubai that rotates around its own axis with the force of the wind. Three Squall Towers are expected to be located on the coast of the emirate, next to the Dubai Marina area.
