The Era of Achievements
The TBR World Series, PG Super Regional-Houston, or USSSA International World Series is only possible with sessional coaches like Lucas Kephart. A famous guy who has a background as a strength coach and Division 1 collegiate baseball coach. Lucas luckily received a scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin upon graduating from Sacramento City College, where he was awarded the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2010.
Lucas proved his passionate skills as a baseball player by being a part of the Big 12 newcomer of the week in April 2011, where his team ranked in the top 5 nationwide. The team also participated in the College World Series and played their first NCAA National Championship Tournament at Charles Schwab field in Omaha.
The Passionate Coaching Legacy
After having a successful baseball career, Lucas digs down more to showcase his skills and enthusiasm for the love of baseball. He became a coach and was invited on as a student-assistant coach under the winning NCAA Division coach of all time, Augie Garrido. Later he became the head catching instructor, unfit coach Garrido, and was named an assistant hitting coach. He started his private coaching in high school and served himself by producing countless student-athletes to make them a part of international and national tournaments and leagues. Lucas never turned back and made a constructive difference by offering his skillful and mind-blowing coaching for 11 years. Lucas also started his own facility to train and coach thousands of athletes who need to be improved at the maximum capacity with zestful athletic vibes.
The Impressive Coaching Style
Lucas believes every player has a different mindset and quick learning skills. All players are different, from body language to mind tricks, so he trains them according to their weak and strong areas. As he shares his thoughts,
“No two hitters should be treated the same regarding their development. I believe each athlete needs individual specialization in order to achieve their maximum athletic potential.”
Lucas also offers 1-1 training to identify the player’s growing areas and their strengths to improve more. He helps his players be more active, skillful, mentally and physically strong, and ready to face any situation, even in live matches.

He is always up to researching various hitting drills, anatomy, body movements, and exercises to help him learn more about making his hitters more efficient. Lucas aims to get his OnBaseU certification just in a few months.
