Thailand, which is one of India’s most popular tourist destinations, has made it easier for overseas visitors to enter the country. Starting July 1, the government will no longer need foreign tourists to register for a Thailand pass and to purchase a US$10,000 health insurance policy.

International tourists to Thailand must now register online for a Thailand pass, which includes a Covid-19 immunisation certificate and a health insurance coverage. The need for a Thailand passport is being phased out.

Foreign nationals will simply need to present confirmation of a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test (antigen test) result within 72 hours of travel, according to a statement from Thailand’s Tourism Authority. These may be printed or viewed on a computer.

Random inspections will be conducted upon arrival at Thailand’s international airports or land border crossings (in 22 provinces). Unvaccinated or partly vaccinated travellers who cannot demonstrate documentation of a pre-arrival negative test will be compelled to take a professional ATK test at the point of entry if they are randomly screened.

Yes, Germany has abolished all Covid-19 limitations on travel to the nation as of June 11th. This implies that all types of travel between India and Germany are now permissible, and no proof of vaccination, recovery, or testing is necessary for admission into Germany.

The US has also removed the need that overseas visitors coming in the US take an obligatory Covid-19 test within a day of boarding their aircraft, removing one of the few remaining government restrictions aimed at curbing the coronavirus’s spread.
