Cousin Pat aka Dr. Patrick Argiro received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program in Business in 2015 from Excelsior College. Bachelor of Science in Business – This program is designed for students who want to pursue careers in business. Cousin Pat also received a Master of Theology: Christian Counseling, from North Central Theological Seminary. The Master of Theology in Christian Counseling program at North Central Theological Seminary is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide counseling services from a Christian perspective.
Cousin Pat also received a Master of Arts: Counseling, from Northwestern Christian University. The Master of Arts in Counseling program at Northwestern Christian University is designed to prepare students for careers in counseling in a variety of settings. The program typically requires 60-66 credits and can be completed in two to three years of full-time study or longer for part-time students.

1. Counseling Theories and Techniques – This course provides an overview of the major counseling theories and techniques used in the field, such as person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

The PhD in Philosophy with a concentration in Christian Counseling program at Northwestern Christian University is designed for students who wish to become experts in the field of Christian counseling and engage in research that advances the field. The program typically requires 60-90 credits beyond the master’s degree level and can take 3-5 years or longer to complete.

In addition to coursework, Cousin Pat completed an internship in a counseling setting under the supervision of a licensed counselor. Like many other graduates of the program, Cousin Pat aka Dr. Patrick Argiro went on to work as a counselor in a variety of settings, such as mental health clinics, and started his own private practice.
