As Dylan Bostic transitions from wrestling to boxing, it’s easy to justify his decision. Wrestling and boxing are both combat sports with dedicated fanbases, and Dylan knows what makes people tick. He understands where to take his life to get what he needs out of it, and boxing is the next logical step.

In an old video, Dylan Bostic stands casually in front of a fireplace while being interviewed. Who is he here? A charming, friendly guy with a slight smile on his face, arms crossed, easing you into his introduction.

“Wrestling’s my life, my dream, my passion,” he says. This side of Dylan is calming, bringing contrast to his boastful wrestling persona. As a wrestler, Dylan embraces the taunts or cheers of the crowd. He manages to captivate his audiences even when he’s being casual and honest.

As Dylan transitions from wrestling to professional boxing, it feels obvious that he will do well. The many stages that Dylan has mastered and traveled set him apart, and now it’s exciting to think of where he’s come from and where he’s going in the next five years.

Dylan’s first stage out of high school was wrestling.

He began his professional journey at 15, training with Dan Garza in Whiteland, Indiana. He then trained under legendary trainer Rip Rogers, a wrestler who has been in the industry since 1977. He gained skills that not only helped him break into wrestling but helped teach him the art and athleticism of combat sports.

Dylan has wrestled for ICW, OVW, and NSPW. He won championships and auditioned for major networks. It was during his WWE tryouts that Dylan understood the uglier side of wrestling. Despite solid tryouts, Dylan wasn’t selected to move on with WWE. For many, that could be a potential finishing blow, but Dylan kept going. Over the years, he’s won several championships throughout the United States and Canada.

As Dylan transitions into boxing, he makes it clear that wrestling was the stage that molded him into what he is. The fans that support him are in for a remarkable transformation.

“Wrestling is in a great position, and so is boxing,” Dylan states. “Both industries have a lot of new viewers, and both are booming. I’m looking to make all of the wrestling fans proud of my pro boxing debut.”
