Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan mountaineer Shirbaz Khan and Lahore mountaineer Shehroz Kashif climbed Nepal’s Makalu mountain on Saturday morning. It is the fifth highest mountain in the world. Its height is eight thousand 465 meters.
Shehroz Kashif set foot on the summit of Makalu on Saturday morning, local time, said Karar Haidri, secretary of the Alpine Club of Pakistan. Shortly after that, Shirbaj Khan rose to the top. There are 14 peaks of 8,000 meters or more in the world. Shirbaj became the first Pakistani to reach the top of 11 mountains. Shirbaaz wants to climb all the 14 mountain peaks.
