CUET 2022: Important Information

  • The decision to conduct a common entrance exam was to provide a platform to evaluate the student’s merit. Also, bringing down the cut-off trend provides equal opportunity to the students.
  • Seeing that every year, Delhi University sets high cut-offs, which makes students scoring below 90% ineligible for admission to the top colleges in DU. CUET will allow such students to get to their desired colleges with ease.
  • However, it is advisable that students must not assume that 12th marks will not hold any weightage. The marks will have some weightage when it comes to admissions to Undergraduate programs.
  • Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other participating universities will also accept CUET scores for admissions to undergraduate programs.
