When and how did you start, and how did you come up with the idea? Your inspirational moment?

Shamshad Alam (Founder & CEO) was invited to deliver a series of lectures in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh for the civil services aspirants and stayed there for almost two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Edunachal came into existence as an online learning platform for the tribal students of Arunachal Pradesh and other Northeastern students.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, It was established as Edunachal Pvt Ltd in Oct 2021.

Edunachal is a company that operates online & offline learning platforms for the aspirants of all competitive exams in Northeast India, with the aim to simplify the tough concepts and make learning easy and interesting with the help of digital tools.

Shamshad Alam hailing from Delhi, India, is an alumnus of the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, where he completed his Graduation & Master’s.
He has cleared several competitive exams, including the most coveted Civil Services Exam.
In 2015, Shamshad Alam was among the five inspiring youths of India selected by Livemint and featured in an article titled “The Aspirers of India.”

A former Radio Jockey at 90.4 FM and a Research Analyst at a reputed Multinational Company, Shamshad worked as a Games Village Operator during the 19th Commonwealth Games held at Delhi in 2010 and received a prestigious “Letter of Appreciation” from the Chairman of the 19th Commonwealth Games.

Despite a successful career and diverse experience, he resigned from his previous positions to pursue his entrepreneurial dream and passion for raising the quality of education by catering to the needs of the civil services & other competitive exams aspirants by Edunachal.

With a team of over 50 experts, Edunachal is a successful venture that has spread its base across North-Eastern States and other parts of India, catering to over 50,000 aspirants and boasting huge selections within a short span of operation.
