Labib Group has bought a dyeing factory with a spinning mill to expand its business. Prior to the change of hands, the factory located in the Dhaka Export Processing Zone was operated under a Taiwan-based multinational company.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Last Monday, the ownership of this 100% export oriented industry changed. A handshake ceremony was organized at the head office of Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh. Named Kung Keng Textile (Bangladesh) Co. Ltd., the company has been manufacturing and trading textile products with a reputation for over 26 years.

Chairman of the organization Salauddin Alamgir was present on behalf of Labib Group at that time. Vice Chairman Sultana Jahan and Deputy Managing Director Pankaj Kumar Karmakar.

Kung Keng Textile (Bangladesh) Co. Ltd. was represented by Lin Feng Fu, Managing Director of the company, Sieh Yang Chin, Director and Tapan Kumar Majumder, Executive Director.

Also present were Enamul Haque, Managing Director, Standard Chartered Bank and Nasser Ejaz Vijay, Chief Executive Officer.
